Glad I found them

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
(In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate the Most Merciful)

Assalamo Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatoho

When I read about this blog (i will post about, inshaAllah) regarding "hijab" I immediately felt the eagerness to practice it. Although I am already practicing the covering of my head (using scarf or Tendung) and my awrah (all parts of the body except hands and face) it is not still called hijab because I have to admit I am still one of those girls wearing skinny jeans or fitted shirts. MashaAllah! these posts  (Blogs) from my sisters in Islam were very helpful because it enlightened me on what are proper and what are not. Jazakallah Khair! my sisters. May Allah rewards you with your teachings to people like me. All those time I thought I am doing the right thing, but in Allah's help in my continues search for wisdom I prove myself wrong. So, slowly I am shifting to proper hijab like a baby step. The first thing I did was looking for the stores that sell the dresses I am going to wear and mashaAllah! I found already these stores. In fact, I already bought 2 abayas as a starter. Second, since I already had long skirts; I wear them everytime I went out. But I can't still avoid my pants because my (long) skirts are limited only to 2 so, most of the time especially when going to work I wear my pants. But I promise to Allah that when I will have enough clothes for my hijab I will get rid of my pants, inshaAllah! And that would conclude the steps.
One of the abaya I bought as starter
the second abaya I bought as a starter w/ the black khimar I found nesting in my closet for ages

I am sooo glad I found them. First, the blogs of my sisters in Islam about proper "Hijab" (i.e. ilovehishma.blogpsot.com); second, the wisdom behind their posts that made me decide to practice it; and lastly, the stores where I can buy these clothes, i.e. abaya, khimar/scarves, etc.
Thank you Yah Allah! the Ever Merciful, the Ever Compassionate.

Thank you to my sisters in Islam, I sooo love your blogs. May Allah help me in my journey in my hijab, inshaAllah, and be able to practice for the rest of my life.

Jazakallah khair!
Fi amanillah! I love you all in the name of Allah.

Jum'ah Khutbah: Oneness of Allah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
(In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent the Most Merciful)

Assalamo Alaikum Warahmat Allah he wa Barakatohu (Peace, blessings and mercy of Allah be upon you).
Alhamdulillah, I was able to attend the Jum'ah prayer. Masha'allah, my schedule was not that demanding. I may say that in my work I am lucky to have a superior that is not that strict when it comes to my presence at the office ( most of the time, actually, I come to the office 1 hour late), fata-barak-Allah! I know I need to re-check my work etiquette. It's not that I am abusive of the leniency of my bosses' and I appreciate that because of the advantage of the freedom I get. I know, I know, I should change the habit and guess what, I'm working on it. Inshaallah, I know I can do it, and I will do it, Inshaallah.
Going back to my attending of the Jum'ah prayer. I thank Allah all the time for the chance given to me. Today, another learning experience from the khutbah of the Imam, alhamdulillah.
The khutbah was about strengthening the belief in Islam by strengthening the belief in the ONENESS, UNIQUENESS of ALLAH (TAWHEED).

Pardon me my dear sisters in Islam, I cannot quote the exact verse from the Qur'an. I was trying to look for it but I failed, astaghfirullah. Inshaallah, in my succeeding post i would master this.
I got back to the office after the prayer. Though I came in late, again, still I manage to accomplish my reports.

That's all for now, I hope I was able to give justice to my post. Allah knows best.

Jazak-Allah khayran!

Fi Aman ni-Allah, I love you all for the sake of Allah!

Getting started

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
(In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent the Most Merciful)

Assalamo Alaikum Warahmat Allah he wa Barakatohu (Peace, blessings and mercy of Allah be upon you).
Hello everyone! I hope the best of everything is with us all in reading this post, Allah knows best.

I created this blog to share with you my journey in learning more of Islam in its deeper sense.

I am a borne Muslim from a Muslim family and the community I grew up majority are Muslim. But I might say that in my age I still have a lot to learn and my seeking for knowledge is eternal. Please join me as I take my steps into learning about my way of life, Islam, in its deepest sense while I take my journey in this Dunya (Earth). Because I know that there are a lot of us (including myself) who don’t totally understand why we are here in this world, what really our role as a Muslim woman in our society, and how we are going to behave?

May Allah give us mercy and guide us in our journey to learn deeper about Islam. Allah knows best. And may Allah give us knowledge to know what is proper.

Jazak-Allah Khairan.

Fi Amaan-Allah, I love you all for the sake of Allah!

The Revival

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
(In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent the Most Merciful )

Assalamo Alaikum Warahmat Allah he wa Barakatohu (Peace, blessings and mercy of Allah be upon you).

Alhamdulillah, I was able to retrieve this old blog which I created way back in 2007. Mashaallah, it is still intact and all I was able to manage was to post only 1. :)

Jazak-Allah khairan, to my sisters in Islam where I have stumbled on their blogs in my search for more knowledge. They have inspired me in re-creating this page. Hope I would be able to stay connected with them, inshaAllah. There were so many of them, Alhamdulillah. Please bear with me I'm still learning the stuff . :)

Until here for now, inshaAllah from time to time I would be able to put some informative post here.

Fi Amaan-Allah, Allah knows best.
